Portfolio: NCSM

The Organization: The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) is an international organization for leaders in mathematics education. NCSM supports mathematics education leadership at the school, district, college/university, state/province, and national levels. It constitutes an international force with over three thousand members, collaborating to achieve excellence in mathematics education.

Their Needs: NCSM wanted a new look and feel to their website; something different from the volunteer-led and sometimes chaotic content. In short, they felt it was time to engage a professional design firm to guide their web efforts.

The Solution: Bringing organization to the website was needed at the presentation level as well as the underlying file structure. To achive this we imported their existing content into templates to provide uniform navigation and overall consistency in appearance. The custom templates also allow multiple pages to be changed with a single alteration, thereby greatly reducing maintentance costs.
