Portfolio: Alive Electric

The Organization: Alive Electric is a well established and successful, mostly-residential electric company headquartered in Alameda, California. The CEO is a savvy businessman with clear marketing goals, and as such had already been a strong contributor of message and content on his website.

Their Needs: Their website contained both design and user interface elements that were out of date and difficult to navigate through. The website, however, contained solid content and classic trigger elements that would remain, but needed to be "re-packaged"

The Solution: Stellar IT Solutions re-organized all content on the home page for stronger messaging and easier reading, toned down the colors, and added seasonally changeable content that enticed visitors to return on a regular basis. Stellar IT Solutions also re-named the navigational categories, edited all content for clarity, consistent business messaging. Meaningful visuals were incorporated into all pages to add visual interest and context. A jobs section with online application and pre-screening forms was also developed.

The customer chose to host his website with Stellar IT Solutions, which includes access to Alive Electric's access logs, allowing the owner to keep track of his visitors' traffic patterns, and giving Stellar IT Solutions the opportunity to provide informed recommendations for website improvements.
